The TSA 300 is a 12” (300 mm) battery-powered cut-off machine in the STIHL AP System. It’s exceptionally easy to handle thanks to its compact and well-balanced design and is designed for professionals working in construction, hardscaping and pipework – making it an ideal choice for processing materials such as bricks, paving stones, natural stone, concrete, reinforced concrete and rebar.
Fitted as standard with a K-ME abrasive cutting wheel, the TSA 300 has cutting performance that is comparable to the TS 410 petrol cut-off machine because of the narrow cutting kerf. This is achieved thanks to the lack of engine vibrations. It increases precision when making cuts, meaning you can achieve accurate results at all times and allows for a maximum cutting depth of 4.3" (110 mm). You can also fit the TSA 300 with a D-SB90 diamond cutting wheel.

- Fast Stop Break: When you release the control lever on your cut-off machine, the cut-off wheel will brake automatically within a few seconds. In addition, the energy gained is fed back into the battery (recuperation), improving its operating time.
- Control Panel: The control panel with large on/off button is easy to operate and has good visibility from above. The 2 LEDs make it easy to read the status of the machine.
- STIHL Magnetic Filter: Magnets in the cooling air flow intercept ferromagnetic particles from the air so that they do not reach the motor. This protects the motor and enables a long service life with consistently high performance. The filter can be easily removed, cleaned and reinstalled after work if required.
- Magnesium Guard: The cutting wheel guard ensures that you are not hit by flying cut material or cooling water from the cutting wheel. The cast magnesium guard is very lightweight and robust.
- Power Boost: Thanks to intelligent electronics, STIHL power tools and batteries communicate with each other. If the device and battery are equipped with the POWER BOOST function, the battery always provides the maximum possible power for the respective application. In order to ensure optimum battery life, the device temporarily adjusts the power if it is used too intensively.
- Constant Power: Battery-powered tools from STIHL have constant power, meaning the performance of your battery tool will not decrease during work as the battery discharges. Intelligent electronics means your tool will work with consistently high power until there is no energy left in the battery.
- Semi Automatic Drive Belt Tensioning: Light, consistent re-tensioning increases the service life of the belts and shaft bearings.
- Connectivity: You can mount a Smart Connector 2 A in the housing of the power tool at the dedicated position. Once installed, this connects to the control unit and transmits valuable power tool data to your smartphone, tablet or the STIHL connected Box that is within range. You can use the STIHL connected App and the STIHL connected Portal to view the STIHL connected gathered data and benefit from additional functions.
- Water Connection: When working with your tool, a permanent water supply is provided for flushing the cutting wheel. It is used to bind dust and cool the cut. With the water connection directly on the tool, this rinsing is easy and permanently assured.
- IPX4 Certified: The AP 200 S is IPX4 certified thanks to the encapsulated electronics and sealing of each individual cell. It means that the battery is protected against splash water from all sides and can be used in rainy conditions.
