- The ERA SureFire Multi-Point Lock for Timber/Composite doors means effortless locking. Shutting the door engages the trigger and fires all five locking points into the keeps. The centre deadbolt can be thrown using the key to deadlock. To release, simply turn the key. The unidirectional throw of hooks provides the lock with an enhanced anti-jemmy feature; and the twin tapered anti-jemmy hooks are designed for both high performance and security. The hooks have anti-saw protection and hardened anti-drill inserts and the hooks will auto deadlock once activated for anti-separation resistance giving 10mm (maximum) engagement into keep. Manufactured from lightweight aluminium used within the aerospace industry, these hooks have been designed with lighter torque (0.8-1Nm) to ensure key operation is smooth and easy to turn. Manufactured from injection moulded hardened Stainless Steel, the Latch Bolts have been designed to ensure the door is in the correct position before the hooks engage into the keeps to prevent any side load pressure on the hooks during any normal lock operation. The deadbolt throws 20mm to prevent against unauthorised entry and has a PTFE (plastic) lead to support low effort release.
- The auto fire trigger is angled for non-handing positioned below the Latch Bolt and the Steel reversible pull and twist or rear screw driver push and turn Latch Bolts mean handing can be changed easily. The lock is available in 35mm and 45mm Backset with a 20mm face bar in a square end or round end. Accepts standard 92mm unsprung handles and the universal gearbox is compatible with a standard Euro Cylinder or ERA Invincible cylinder using the lugs on the gearbox to convert from a euro cylinder to Invincible shape.
- Tested to the latest security and performance standards the SureFire 2 Hook lock meets the requirements of PAS 24:2012 and BS 6375. The lock meets the requirements of BS EN 1670 Grade 4 (240 hours) for Corrosion Resistance to provide the most robust finish; and to ensure smooth and consistent performance over time the lock is endurance tested in our test house to 50,000 cycles.
