The EPR-X1.1 PAPR system’s A1B1E1 gas filtration is designed to address the most common respiratory risks found in industrial welding applications. The filter offers broad welding-class gas filtration when working with certain materials such as stainless or treated steel. With the integrated P3 particulate filter, installation to the EPR-X1.1 PAPR system is as simple as mounting the standard particulate filter. There is no need to “stack filters” or worry about incorrect assembly or air leakage.
The filter, when mounted to the EPR-X1.1, automatically locks-out all of the blower unit’s speed settings except for the lowest, guaranteeing full life and effectiveness of the gas filter. A safety professional can help determine the proper change intervals for the gas filter, or otherwise move to a safe location and change the filter as soon as gas is detected through smell or taste.
